ITALY AND EGYPT HOLD ENERGY WORKSHOP IN CAIRO

The aim was toassess the effect of reforms in Italy's energy sector to boostEgypt's energy sector. The workshop also aimed to explore waysto help Egypt increase energy efficiency and develop morerenewable energy sources, using Italy's experience andexpertise. The sessions focused mainly on regulatory, technicaland commercial aspects of energy efficiency and renewableenergy. The workshop was organised by the Italian embassy inthe Egyptian capital with Italian energy company Edison and theItalian Chamber of Commerce in Egypt. vel.
