(AGI) Rome, March 12 - An Italian architecture firm has heldin-depth consultation sessions with the Italian branch of thesocial network LinkedIn before designing the company's newheadquarters. For four months, the Italian employees ofLinkedIn have talked about their habits with the architects ofthe studio 'Il Prisma'. The goal has been to develop a finaldesign for the new offices of the Italian social network thatwill be innovative, not only functional, but also able to fullyrepresent the company's philosophy. In summary, "a place wherethe energy of individuals is transformed into excellence." Thearchitecture studio started the process with a creativeworkshop involving the whole LinkedIn team, to understand indetail how employees identify themselves with the brand and itsvalues. The studio has used a scientific method called RedefineYour Habits, which seeks to understand the needs of allindividual participants and to translate the information intophysical space. Il Prisma qualified the working environment ofthe Italian LinkedIn with the following characterizations:"dynamic healthy", people who are active, sportive and who paymuch attention to their health and wellbeing; "crazy-humanpeople", people who think outside the box and are sensitive tohuman values; "friendly but competitive", a team united bycommon goals; "strike for the best", always aiming to improveand better themselves. This information was processed into adesign concept: "Places of Transformation", meaning placeswhere raw material, symbolising the talent present in Italy, isconverted into value. Five places representing Italianexcellence were selected based on their characteristics, atmosphere and use, and adapted to the main work settings. These will be recreated in the new headquarters, immersed in anenvironment characterised by the global values of the LinkedInbrand (connection, transformation, digital technology,dynamism...).. .
