(AGI) London, Nov. 15 - Italian wines will be showcased inLondon where the Italian Sommelier Association (ISA) has chosento present its new guidebook "Vitae - The 2015 Wine Guide2015", a collection of reviews by Italian master sommeliers.This is the first time a foreign country has been selected as avenue for the presentation event, thus highlighting theexcellent reputation of a national product that has gainedmomentum abroad in several international marketplaces. TheGuide's wine charts contain recipes and a list of the 400 ISAaward-winning products as well as 25 wines that have received aspecial recognition by the Association. A tasting session washeld at the Italian Bookshop, a cultural institution withinwalking distance of Piccadilly Circus, that works closely withthe Italian Cultural Institute in London. The special launchingvenue underscored the cultural value of a national product andits comeback in an ever-challenging world. The event was alsoattended by Italy's Consul General in London, MassimilianoMazzanti, who delivered the welcome address. "We chose Londonbecause it is a crossroads of different peoples and cultures.This guide was planned as a means to support our country's winevia an appropriate communications tool, which is far from easy.This book is organized differently from the usual wine guideand describes wine in all its aspects following a selection oftwo thousand companies and ten thousand different labels,"president of ISA Antonello Maietta told AGI.. .
