Italian reform for honourary judges available online

(AGI) Rome, July 12 - The draft reform package regardinghonourary magistrates in Italy is available online. JusticeMinister Andrea Orlando prepared the new provisions based onguidelines laid out in a Cabinet meeting on June 30. TheGovernment is planning a "unified code" applicable to justicesof the peace, honourary court judges and honourary assistantprosecutors. Justices of the peace and honourary court judgeswill belong to a single department - that of justice of thepeace, which will be radically reorganised and then coordinatedby the president of the court. . .
