Italian author scores a hit at Italian literature festival
(AGI) Hamburg, Sept 18 - The presentation of Carlo Lucarelli'sbook The Dream of Flying or Beasts in its recent Germantranslation, met with great public enthusiasm in Hamburg. Thefamous Italian writer took part in the sixth HarbourFrontLiteraturfestival, an international festival of literature,winning new readers during the event held at the KuehneLogistics University. The meeting was opened by Peter Lohmann,one of the festival organisers, who welcomed Carlo Lucarelliand thanked the Italian Cultural Institute for the cooperationoffered since the festival's first edition. There followed areading in German of selected passages from Beasts, by

Moderator Stephanie Neu, professor at theDepartment of Philology of Mannheim University, then asked aseries of questions to which the Italian writer responded withgreat charm, stimulating the public's interest. The initiativewas organised by Harbourfront, in partnership with the ItalianCultural Institute in Hamburg and the Klaus Kuehne Foundation.(AGI). .
