Italian artists at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2014

(AGI) Edinburgh, July 21 - Italy will have a strong presence atEdinburgh's Fringe Festival, one of the largest artistic eventsin the world that will run from Aug. 1 to 25. It will bringhundreds of artists from 47 countries and feature more than3,000 performances. Italy's contribution to EdFringe 2014 willbe much larger than previous years in terms of quantity andquality. The Italian Cultural Institute in Edinburgh, workingclosely with Italy's Heritage, Cultural Activities and TourismMinistry (MIBACT), have been working over the past three yearswith Dance Base, the national dance centre in the city,

The Italian Cultural Institute in Edinburgh, workingclosely with Italy's Heritage, Cultural Activities and TourismMinistry (MIBACT), have been working over the past three yearswith Dance Base, the national dance centre in the city, on aspecial project to allow the best Italian dance companies toperform at the festival, an important sector that needspromotion and visibility. Some of them have already performedat the festival in past years, among them Silvia Gribaudi,Chiara Frigo, Giorgia Nardin, Riccardo Buscarini and ValentinaBuldrini.
