(AGI) Cairo, July 18 - Palestinian factions mobilised to try tostop Israeli troops advancing into the Gaza Strip on Friday.The Ezzedin al Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, setoff three bombs as they fought Israeli soldiers in the areanorth of Beit Lahiya, reported an Al-Jazeera TV correspondent.The Palestinian militants claim to have wounded several Israelisoldiers and hit a tank with a bomb.
