The Israeli forces bombed the Gaza security forcesheadquarters and police stations. According to the U.S. newschannel CNN, which quoted Israeli sources, troops of theIsraeli Defence Forces also destroyed long-range rocketlaunchers at dawn. The troops entered the Gaza Strip, andduring the ensuing half-hour operation gunfights broke out thatleft four Israeli soldiers slightly injured.
