IMF sees German growth in next two years

(AGI) Washington, July 21 - Germany's central bank, theBundesbank, is forecasting a second quarter with no growth, butthe International Monetary Fund is confident in the strength ofthe German economy. The IMF has revised upwards its estimatesfor German growth in 2014 to 1.9 percent (1.7 percent increaseaccording to a previous forecast) and 1.7 percent for 2015 (1.6percent growth in a previous forecast). The IMF has called onBerlin to invest more in transport and infrastructure and toreconsider the introduction of a minimum wage and its adverseeffects. (AGI) . .
