(AGI) Vatican City, July 9 - The Holy See Press Office onWednesday announced major changes regarding the future of theInstitute for the Works of Religion, commonly known as theVatican Bank. The Administration of the Patrimony of theApostolic See (APSA) will see its Ordinary Section transferredinto the Secretariat for the Economy. The move is an importantstep to enable the Secretariat for the Economy to exercise itsresponsibilities of economic control and vigilance over theagencies of the Holy See, including policies and proceduresconcerning purchasing and the suitable allocation of humanresources. . .
