(AGI) Rome, Dec 1 - The Fluad flu vaccine was pronounced safeby Italy's National Institute of Health and the Italian DrugAgency on Monday. They said: "The results of the tests confirmthe safety of the flu vaccine, excluding the presence ofendotoxins and showed the appearance and content of the antigenvaccine of the flu shot batches to be in order. The increase inreported problems, with 19 on Monday linked to eight differentbatches, is due to increased awareness among healthprofessionals and the population of the issue following thereports of recent days."
