(VELINO) Roma, 1 Oct - Tunis recently hosted Italian designerRenato Balestra's first ever fashion show in Tunisia. The eventwas attended by some 300 guests, including local officials,diplomats, journalists and members of the country's Italianbusiness community. Against a backdrop of political unrest andin the lead-up to upcoming general and presidential elections,the event also ranked as an attempt by Tunisian and Italiancommunities to send a business-as-usual message to thecountry's cultural and business establishment, said ItalianEmbassy charge' d'affaires Silvia Chiave.
