(AGI) Brussels, July 18 - The balance of European currentoperations in the first quarter of the year had a surplus of25.4 billion euros, or 0.8 percent of GDP, reported Eurostat onFriday. This was down from 32.7 billion euros in the previousquarter, for the 28 EU countries, and 32.9 billion euros in thefirst quarter of last year. The surplus on the services balancewas 45.9 billion euros compared to 43.5 billion euros in theprevious quarter. (AGI) . .
