(AGI) Turin, June 12 - EU countries should prove they are readyto contribute to meeting EU climate targets and possibly gobeyond them, Maros Sefcovic, vice-president of the EuropeanCommission and Energy Commissioner, told AGI at the WorldChambers Congress in Turin. He said: "The 27 percent target ofenergy production from renewable sources is binding, while thegoal of reaching at least 27 percent of energy efficiency isindicative. We will introduce a governance system which I havesubmitted to the Energy Ministers of EU members at our lastcouncil meeting. We look forward to working closely with
