Eni signs two agreements with Republic of Congo

(AGI) Rome, Feb 26 - Italian energy giant Eni has confirmed twoagreements with the Republic of Congo. They were signed by CEOClaudio Descalzi at Palazzo Chigi, watched by Republic of CongoPresident, Denis Sassou N'Guesso, and Italian Prime MinisterMatteo Renzi. The agreements were to promote energy developmentin Congo and contribute to growth, said a statement. Eni hasbeen working in Congo since 1968 and produces around 110,000barrels of oil equivalent a day. The company has also been inSub-Saharan Africa since the Sixties, and runs exploration andproduction projects in Angola, Ghana, Gabon, Mozambique, Kenya,
