DNA traces insufficient, says defence in Garlasco murder

(AGI) Genoa, Sept 11 - The DNA traces found on the body ofChiara Poggi, who was murdered in her Garlasco home in 2008,are insufficient, said the defence lawyer of Alberto Stasi, whois accused of murdering his girlfriend. "Five DNA markersextracted from the traces found on Chiara Poggi are compatiblewith Alberto Stasi but it could also be from anyone else. We'llsee what the expert witness writes in the report. Any test canbe useful, but we'll ascertain its utility when it is filed",said Angelo Giarda, Stasi's lawyer. (AGI) . .
