CULTURAL HERITAGE MANAGEMENT SEMINAR OPENS IN ARGENTINA

(VELINO) Roma, 12 Sep - The International Seminar on the HighLevel Management of Cultural Heritage has begun in Argentina.Italian Ambassador Teresa Castaldo inaugurated the initiative,organised by the Ministry of Urban Development of theGovernment of the City of Buenos Aires and the Argentine officeof the University of Bologna. Italian university teachers LucaZan and Sara Bonini Baraldi have prepared a full series ofexamples of international museums to show recent advances inthe management of cultural heritage. Professor Zan is thecoordinator of the MSc in Innovation and Organisation ofCulture and the Arts. He has been a visiting fellow at SOAS'sCentre for Chinese Studies and at Princeton University's Centerfor Arts and Cultural Policy Studies. Since 2002 he has beenpresident of the graduate programme in the Management ofInnovation, Culture and Artistic Organisations of theUniversity of Bologna, teaching general management of culturalorganisations. Sara Bonini Baraldi is a researcher in thescientific-disciplinary sector at the Department of BusinessSciences. She has a specialised diploma in the Management ofCultural Projects Manager from the Fitzcarraldo Foundation andthe International Centre for Culture and Management inSalzburg. She also did a semester of graduate studies at theFederal University of Rio de Janeiro as part of the ManagementMA at the Faculty of Economics, under the Exchanges Programmewith Bocconi University. Since 2010 she has been co-founder,member, and co-coordinator of the Play-Research - Centre forStudies on Management and Innovation in Cultural and ArtisticOrganisations of the Department of Business Sciences,University of Bologna. vel.
