(AGI) Venice, Sept 10 - The Italian retail store brand Conadhas bought 50 Billa supermarkets from their parent companyRewe. The transaction, which mostly involves stores in theVeneto region, will be formalised once it receives the ItalianCompetition Authority's approval. Both parties have agreed notto release any statements regarding details of the deal, whichincludes transferring 1,220 employees.
