Coalition will not put boots on the ground against ISIS
(AGI) Paris, June 2 - The meeting of the internationalcoalition confirmed its commitment to fight ISIS following therecent offensive of the jihadist militias in Ramadi, Iraq, andin Palmyra, Syria. "Absolutely no mention was made of a groundintervention: Iraq has requested a greater commitment, but onrefugees and military, in terms of training, supplies andammunition. The coalition is aware that ground combat is mainlyin the hands of the Iraqis," said Italian Foreign MinisterPaolo Gentiloni.
