Canada jazz festivals host Italian artists Rava and Fresu

(AGI) Ottawa, June 30 - Enrico Rava, Gianluca Petrella, PaoloFresu, Daniele di Bonaventura and the A Filetta singing groupwere the Italian performers in the Ottawa International JazzFestival, during two concerts held at the National Arts CentreStudio. Their Canadian tour included Quebec, with two shows atthe Festival International de Jazz de Montreal, staged at theMaison Symphonique de Montreal and at the Salle Ludger-DuvernayMonument National. The artists are working on an album to bereleased as 'Mistico Mediterraneo', combining wind instrumentswith voice in a marriage of jazz and antique music. TrumpeterPaolo Fresu performed
