(AGI) Milan, Dec 1 - The future of advertisement on the weblies in social networks and mobiles, according to figures onInternet advertising presented on the first day of the IABForum, Italy's major event dedicated to digital communication.Advertising on the web has grown 10 percent from last yearthanks to social networks, which have risen 63 percent from2014. However, there is still "a large unexploited potentialwhich is represented by mobiles", explained the vice presidentof IAB Italia, Michele Marzan. "The growth potential is huge,"said Alessandro Coppo, general manager of eBay Classifieds.Speaking of digitalisation, Mr Coppo added: "In Italy the trendis positive, although much still needs to be done to bridge thegap with more advanced countries." In order to understandthe new "roads" of advertising, a presentation was made on theways of reaching target users who do not use conventionalmedia. An example of this is Webstars Channel, a social factoryinvolving young creative users between 12 and 30 years of age.The Webstars platform counts on 30 million followers on socialnetworks and over 2 billion hits on YouTube. Luca Casadei, thefounder and CEO of Webstars, presented on stage two GameTherapy players, Favij and Federico Clapis, two Italian starson YouTube.
