(AGI) New York, May 27 - Italy has organised a photographictreasure hunt in New York to celebrate its National Day on June2. This idea was promoted by Elastica and the Disturbo culturalassociation with the Italian Consulate General in New York. Thetheme of the hunt will be the cinema, and participants will begiven a list of objects to find and riddles to solve. Thecompetition will take place on Sunday May 31 and will be opento teams of two wearing the event's official T-shirts. Theywill be given a list of 25 subjects to photograph in six hours.The award ceremony will be on June 2 at the consulate. Theprize for the first team to bring in all the pictures will be aVespa Piaggio motor-scooter. Prizes will also be awarded forother categories, such as the best and most originalphotographs, the best snapshots, the best disguise and the bestmeans of transport. The New York treasure hunt will be precededby two similar events, one in Bologna one in Trento, and willbe repeated in Milan in the autumn. (AGI). .
