WORLD REGIONS FORUM TAKES PLACE IN MILAN

(AGI) - Milan, September 27th - "Multilevel governance andcivil society for innovation and growth" is the title of thesecond edition of the World Regions Forum, a three-day eventheld in Milan with regional authorities from all over the worlddebating and questioning the role played by local institutionsin a world that has become increasingly complex, due to therising challenges posed by globalization and the need forincreasingly efficient allocation of resources. Mobility in the world of research,the sustainable use of water resources, the battle againstcancer and bio-banks will instead be discussed at meetings onThursday.On Friday there will be a plenary assembly for thetwenty regional leaders present, held at the Auditorium atPalazzo Lombardia.
