(AGI) Rome, 8 June - A total of 8,000 people attended thesecond Roma Drone Expo & Show at Urbe Airport. This was 30percent more than last year, according to a statement issued atthe end of the show on Friday June 5. It said: "All the figuresfor the event were significant: 5,000 square metres ofexhibition space, more than 60 Italian and foreign exhibitorsand around 100 different models of civilian and militarydrones. An auditorium seating 400 hosted 14 meetings andconferences, 220 accredited journalists in attendance, andvisits from many public figures. These included Deputy Speakerof the Senate Valeria Fedeli, Deputy Chief of Staff of theArmed Forces Paolo Magro, Central Director of AirportInfrastructure at ENAC Alessandro Cardi, President of the AeroClub d'Italia Giuseppe Leoni, Chairman of the Federation ofItalian Aerospace, Defence and Security Companies, GuidoCrosetto." The wide-ranging programme of meetings andconferences during the three-day show was held at theauditorium in the State Forestry Corps hangar. The opening"Drones in Italy" was particularly well-attended, as was the"Meeting of Women APR Drone Pilots" and the "Drone Job Day"professional training session for young people. The "Droneswith Stars" conferences were attended by Air Force Predatorpilots, Raven and Bramor Army pilots. "Trouble-Free DroneFlying" was organised with help from the State Police..
