Having direct contact with the Russian leader means that Italy is held in high esteem by Russia, and being considered highly by Russia means that here in Europe we can have an important role in the field of energy, that we can understand first hand how the Iranian nuclear dossier develops and that we can ensure Italian energy interests, both for orders and for supplies to Italian enterprises.''
