(AGI) - Rome, 26 Nov. - The Old Continents stock markets closed
in deep deficit in a day which saw the impact of fears
connected to Dubai World, the state holding which risks default
pulling banking shares down (Hsbc, Santander, Bnp Paribas,
Barclays, Credit Suisse lost between 2.8 and 8.9%). They are
the heaviest losses for the last seven months. In London the
FTSE 10 finished at 5,194.13 points with a downturn of 3.18%.
Paris' Cac 40 ended at 3,679.23 points (-3.41%). Frankfurt's
Dax reached 5,614.17 points (-3.25%). The FTSE MIB was down to
21,922.45 points ceding 3.6%.
